About Us

Whilst new in its blooming, The Wellspring is a culmination of many years of working deeply with children and adults in the areas of self-reflection, creativity and embodiment. Before working as Teacher in rural and remote communities in FNQ, Chloe worked independently as a holistic mentor for women, movement facilitator and ceremonialist. Before this she worked in the Disability sector, creating behavioural support interventions for children with additional needs through the arts.  She has also volunteered extensively contributing her knowledge surrounding Indigenous Pedagogy and practice, and decolonisation processes within the self, within the classroom and within the staff body. She has worked deeply with First Nations families, bush medicines and traditional healing ways.

Wellness within the self, and within the school body is fundamentally critical for the learning outcomes of children, and for the wellbeing of country. These interconnected spheres are prioritised within this offering. These programs also support the workforce culture of sustained improvement and excellence by creating links between personal wellness and professional wellness, creating opportunities for scaffolded reflective practice, and for nurturing emotional needs as a foundation for academic outcomes.

The Wellspring includes a small, and necessary team and at this point is based in Northern NSW, with continued capacity to travel to deliver programs (in person and online). In order to offer these programs, we value and appreciate transparency, professional integrity and the ability to adhere to communicative and organisational needs. As it is early in our formation, there are flexibilities and capacities that can be discussed based on the needs of the school.
